This is America...a brilliant diversity spread like stars, like a thousand points of light in a broad and peaceful sky. George H.W. Bush
The United States has always been a nation of immigrants, people searching for a better life in the land of the free. A place where someone can reinvent themselves while also bringing along all their food, religion, and culture from where they came. And it is because of this diverse mixture of people that America's culture shines as a unique melting pot. The landscape is as diverse as much as its people across the large country. Tropical beaches in Hawaii to glaciers in Alaska, all the way to the mighty Mississippi River crossing through the country.
Honestly, it is hard to describe visiting the United States as just one place. Its vast borders encompass an insane amount of cultural and geographical range, each place unique unto itself. If you think about it, the United States is actually the third largest country by landmass and almost the size of the entire European continent. It’s huge! From the rocky coast of the Pacific Northwest, to the deserts of Arizona, to the bustling streets of New York, there is always something to do in the U.S.
It is because of its size as well as culture that the United States is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world. For the music lovers, you can find homes for your favorite music styles like hip hop in New York, jazz in New Orleans, soul in Detroit, and country in Nashville. Of course, if you are a movie fan, Hollywood is the ultimate destination for celebrities and movie making. And for the sports fan, pretty much any major city has a team for football (Dallas Cowboys), basketball (Los Angeles Lakers), and baseball (Chicago Cubs). It can be easy to find amazing things to do by just focusing on a city or at most one of the fifty states to choose from.
