Dating back to 1907, Westminster Hall is the oldest part of the Palace of Westminster. At the time, It was the largest hall in Europe. Westminster Hall has always played an important role in the country - it housed three important courts in England in the past and important trials took place here. Coronation banquets and other ceremonies were also held here.
